Avazzia Training FAQs

Why is training emphasized?

Is training necessary?

The Avazzia devices are generally simple to use. So simple, that all you do is

  • 1. Power on the device
  • 2. Place on the skin and find a comfortable power setting
  • 3. Select the output mode
  • 4. Apply for 10 to 20 minutes

So why training?

Excellent question. If the devices are so easy to use, then why are there Level 1 and level 2 trainings, Biofeedback Board Certification programs, and Workshops?

And why can’t Avazzia just tell me over the phone what to do and how to apply for my condition?

Avazzia is a medical device manufacturer. Avazzia does not have licensed healthcare practitioners to answer medical questions like a clinic, help-line, doctors office or hospital would have.

As an analogy, consider a simple surgical knife or cutting instrument. The manufacturer uses surgical grade stainless steel, has earned internationally recognized quality manufacturing certification, is FDA cleared for marketing medical instruments for surgical applications, but does not offer medical ‘how-to’ advice. To learn to cut tissue safely for successful outcome, surgeons spend countless hours in medical school, studying, practicing, and training.

Turning discussion back to Avazzia devices, consider that if you have heard of positive outcomes related to Avazzia devices, it is often related to trained and experienced practitioners who have studied Anatomy and Physiology as well as how to relate the technology to the condition.

Example applications and conditions that training might help with are chronic, intractable pain, pain associated with carpal tunnel syndrome, neuropathy, inflammation, heel spurs, plantar fasciitis, back pain, knee pain, shoulder pain, joint pain.

Avazzia promotes safe and effective application of devices and accessories.

For best results, attend training and education.

If these devices are safe and simple to use, then why is a prescription required?

The FDA limits distribution of these pain relieving devices in part to encourage those suffering with undiagnosed pain to seek professional medical attention for their own safety.

Consider for example that ‘pain’ is recognized and reacted to by the body. So if someone twists a knee or injures a tendon, and needs to stay off of it to allow for heeling, then pain is a natural self-protective reminder to reduce stress, protect and support the injured area.

Pain from migraines or headaches are applications not cleared by the FDA. Consider the importance of determining the root cause of the pain from migraines or headaches if there is an undiagnosed tumor that couldn’t be diagnosed and identified without proper medical attention such as MRIs or other examinations.

Pain from cancer and cancer-related therapies is another type of condition where professional medical advice is required. Cancer, chemotherapy and radiation are dangerous and life-threatening. Seek medical advice to avoid worsening the condition.

Avazzia, per US FDA regulation, requires a prescription before purchasing professional-use devices and advises that individuals, users, and patients seek medical attention for serious or chronic undiagnosed pain.
